GFGPXFIT

About GPXFIT

GPXFIT is a small, independent set of tools for editing GPS activity files — GPX, FIT, and TCX — built for runners, cyclists, and triathletes who use Garmin, Strava, Wahoo, and similar platforms. Every tool runs in your browser; no file is ever uploaded to a server. See Privacy for the full explanation.

Why this exists

Anyone who trains long enough eventually forgets to stop their watch, has it die mid-activity, or uploads a file that Strava rejects outright. Strava's and Garmin Connect's built-in editing tools are limited. GPXFIT is built to be fast, free, and honest about what it does and doesn't do yet: it tells you what a tool changes, what it drops, and whether your file ever leaves the browser.

What works today

Next on the roadmap

Roughly in priority order:

  • FIT file trimming (the trimmer is GPX/TCX only today)
  • FIT file repair for truncated/corrupted recordings
  • FIT export (writing, not just reading)
  • A route builder — draw a route, export GPX for your watch
  • An optional paid tier for batch processing and larger files

How GPXFIT is funded

Today, GPXFIT is free with no ads. Over time we expect to add: contextual affiliate links to gear relevant to a specific tool (for example, GPS watches on the file-inspector page), and a small optional paid tier for power users. We won't sell or share the contents of your files — see the Privacy page.

Not affiliated

GPXFIT is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Garmin, Strava, Wahoo, or Komoot. GPX, FIT, and TCX format names belong to their respective owners/standards bodies.
